Flea and tick protection for dogs

Flea and tick bites are annoying for your dog, but did you know they could also be transmitting diseases? Learn how to protect your dog - and the rest of your family – by preventing bites from these annoying parasites!

Why is it important to protect your dog?

Your dog is an important member of the family and deserves the best protection. There has been a significant rise in disease transmission through infected parasites through much of Canada. Give yourself peace of mind by protecting your dog from the unwanted irritation and potential illnesses parasites such as fleas and ticks can bring.

Not all products work the same. K9 Advantix®II and Advantage®II are topical parasiticides that protect your dog from parasite bites by killing parasites through contact, so no biting is required. What does this mean? It means that the product is applied and stays on the outside of your dog so fleas and ticks don’t need to bite in order to die. K9 Advantix®II also reduces biting by mosquitoes and stable flies. These products are safe for puppies as young as 7 and 8 weeks old (in Advantage®II and K9 Advantix®II respectively) so there is no better time to start protecting your loved one.

K9 Advantix®II is not for use on cats
